XJ

XJ is used to for various idiomatic correlative conjunctions, such as:

XJa

Used to form both ... and...
       +-----XJa-----+-----Spx----+
       | +-SJls-+-SJrs-+ +--Pg*b-+
       | | | | | |
    both.d June.f and.j-n Tom.m are.v coming.v

XJb

Used to form not only ... but also...
     +-----------Sp-----------+
     | +-------XJb------+
     | | +---VJl*i--+
     | +_IBP+ | +_IBX+-VJr*i+
     | | | | | | |
we not only ate.v-d but also drank.v-d

XJo

Used in either ... or ... expressions:
            +---------Ost---------+
            | +------XJo-----+
            | | +-SJls-+--SJrs-+
            | | | | |
    it will be either.r this.p or.j-n that.j-p

XJn

Used in neither ... nor ... expressions:
            +---------Ost----------+
            | +------XJn------+
            | | +-SJls-+--SJrs-+
            | | | | |
    it will be neither.r this.p nor.j-n that.j-p

XJi

This is used to implement ... not only X, but Y, linking to infinitives:
                        +-------------------XJi-------------------+
                        | +----------Js---------+ |
             +-----I----+ | +-------Ds------+ |
      +--Sp--+ +_IBA+--I-+-MVp-+ | +---AN---+ +-Xd-+----I---+--Ox-+
      | | | | | | | | | | | | |
     you should.v not only ask.v for.p your money.n-u back.n , but.j-r demand.v it
This usage is probably a design flaw, ansd should be handled with the XJb link instead. However, this style makes more sense for the if...then... type constructions...

XJc

Used in if ... then ... expressions:
       +------------XJc-----------+
       +-----CV---->+             |
       +--Cs--+-Ss*b+--Pa-+ +-VJr*i+--Os--+
       | | | | | | |
    if.j-c this.p is.v true.a then.j-c do.v that.j-p
This style is used only when obvious parts of the sentence are elided; compare to the use of CO for
if this is true then you should do that

Other uses

Other possible uses of this link (not currently implemented) might cover other idiomatic coordinating expressions, such as:

Note also that the RJ link is also used for various miscellaneous expressions; see also the V link for idiomatic expressions with intervening words.
